About
I have a bachelor's in design from Osmania University and a master's in Human-Computer Interaction from Tallinn University, and a total of 7 years of expertise in UI/UX design. With an educational background and industry experience in the design domain as a UI/UX designer, and skills in accessibility, usability testing and user research, I have found my passion by aligning my profile to the design stream, and continuous learning has led me to find solutions in innovative ways. I have worked on improving products for companies like Upshot.ai, Cisco, Temenos and Verizon.
I would greatly appreciate meeting and talking further about how we may work together. Please take your time to review my resume and portfolio. I believe I would be an excellent candidate for the position, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and discuss how my skills and expertise may benefit the team and company.
Bank User Agent (BUA) is part of Virtual Account Management (VAM), a subset of Transactional Banking. It helps corporates manage their cash and payment transactions through virtual accounts. The goal was to give corporate banking clients more control over capital and a leaner, more efficient treasury.
Goals & objectives
VAM as a standalone product
Temenos wanted VAM to stand alone (it sat under Transact), with Direct Deposit Accounts, Liquidity Management and BUA running in parallel beneath it.
Improve the experience
Raise the overall user experience of a legacy tool.
Optimise interactions
Streamline interactions across the whole product.
Use the design system
Build with UUX components for easier development.
Stay consistent
Match the layouts of other products under the VAM umbrella.
User groups
A maker and a checker
M
Corporate Liquidity Manager
Also known as the Maker.
Gathers information from corporates to create records and requests for approval
Fast-paced; wants to input as much data as possible
C
Treasury Manager
Also known as the Checker.
Reviews the maker's requests to approve or reject them
Approval makes customer records, account details and structures live
Corporates use VAM through a self-service web portal on desktop, regularly, to service accounts, pull balances and transactions, and fetch account details.
Competitor analysis
Learning from the market leaders
OracleCiscoJP Morgan ChaseDeloitteGoldman Sachs
VAM isn't customer-facing software, so interfaces and documentation were hard to find. Oracle and Cisco were the only ones with public product documentation and screenshots, which let us study how they worked.
Tables over nav panes
Both relied on tabular layouts rather than a standard navigation pane.
Nested forms
Forms nested inside forms were common, and caused a lot of clutter.
Flat form models
Monotonous forms with no textual hierarchy.
Currencies and Maker-Checker
Currencies play a major role, and the Maker-Checker module is widely adopted.

Constraints & challenges
Designing within fixed limits
No research data
No usage analytics or user feedback on existing problems.
Fixed back end
Databases and APIs were already built, and back-end changes were off the table.
Fixed timeline
The whole process had to fit a timeline set in advance.
Across my time at Temenos
40% increase in user engagement during initial testing
50+ UUX Design System components applied
Accessibility and interaction patterns improved across 100+ screens
